Each console is fully disassembled, cleaned, tested, and verified fully functional. My refurbishment process prioritizes restoring performance and longevity while preserving as many original Nintendo-manufactured components as possible.
Refurbishment details:

Shoulder buttons fully disassembled and cleaned

Cosmetic condition:
These consoles are approximately 20 years old and show signs of normal use from that time.

Outer shells may show scratching, scuffing, or other cosmetic wear from years of use and transport

Minor cosmetic cracking may be present in non-structural areas around the outer edges of the console from normal wear and tear

Original Nintendo plastics may show some yellowing due to age

Inner shells are generally in very good condition

Screens may have light surface scratching from normal use

LCDs may show some yellowing. I take steps to reduce the yellowing as much as possible before shipping. You can continue to reduce the yellowing by playing the DS regularly. In my opinion, it is generally not noticeable during game play.
